Art from Artefacts Exhibition by Ann Wingfield

This exhibition will be displayed in Tuar Ard Arts Centre, Moate. It encouraged residents of Moate to contribute ’a story’ associated with an artefact relating to their family home and history. It gives value to their life experiences. The notion is to encourage people to continue documenting their story for the purpose of handing down to their descendants as a document of life as they recall, lived and experienced it, by selecting an object it helps the storyteller to commence a starting point which can sometimes be daunting.
