We are delighted to announce the launch of the 3rd Annual Exhibition at An Chéad Tine, taking place on Culture Night, Friday 18 September 2026, from 6pm-8pm.

This year’s exhibition brings together the work of 50 Irish artists, selected through an open call by our invited guest selector, Maurice Quillinan (Artist and Curator at Limerick Museum Art Gallery @limerickhistorymuseum)

With an exceptionally strong response to the open call, the selection process was both challenging and exciting, bringing together a diverse group of artists working across a wide range of approaches, perspectives and artistic practices.

We are thrilled to present this collection of contemporary Irish art at An Chéad Tine and to provide a platform for artists to share their work with audiences in our community and beyond.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for the opening evening which takes place on this Culture Night. Come along, meet the artists and enjoy an evening celebrating contemporary Irish art and creativity.

The exhibition will continue at An Chéad Tine until 19th October 2026.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the wonderful range of talent represented in this year’s exhibition.

All are very welcome.
