Amber’s One Million Stars Ireland  project –  Star Weaving Workshop

Celebrate Culture Night by joining Amber for a free, family friendly One Million Stars Ireland star weaving workshop in one of Kilkenny’s historic venues. Discover the calming art of weaving while helping transform a heritage space into a vibrant place of creativity, conversation, and community.

Each woven star represents light, hope and solidarity against gender based violence. Join the movement and create your visual petition to end gender based  violence in Ireland. No artistic experience is needed and all materials are provided, making this workshop accessible to people of all ages and abilities. ( Under 18s  must be accompanied by an adult).

Participants are invited to contribute their stars to a collective installation. Through shared making and meaningful conversations, the workshop celebrates Kilkenny’s rich cultural heritage and the power of community based action.
