A Window Into Belfast is a free, drop-in participatory art workshop and installation created specifically for Culture Night Belfast 2026.

Throughout the evening, visitors of all ages will be invited to contribute to a large illuminated window installation inspired by places they have discovered, love, or wish to explore in Belfast.

Responding to the theme A City Explorer, participants will create small drawings and collage pieces on translucent materials, responding to prompts such as hidden places, favourite views, and personal maps of the city.

The event is led by visual artist Fionnuala McGowan of Make Space Studio and is designed to be accessible to all ages and abilities, requiring no previous artistic experience.
