A Wee Tap
Ballinamore Writers’ Group presents a rehearsed reading (script in hand) and work in progress of 'A Wee Tap' - a one-person monologue of sixty minutes. Written by Rory Nevin, directed by Mary Blake and read by Maggie Kilcoyne, this piece is character driven, comedic, dark and dramatic.
The play, which reflects female identity in rural West of Ireland in the 80’s/90’s is primarily aimed at an Irish audience but contains themes that would apply globally. This is a people's play and will be followed by a discussion about the piece and the writing process. Refreshments will be served.
