A Singing Sligo is an inclusive, interactive choral workshop celebrating the joy of collective singing, led by award-winning conductor and Sligo native Ciara Murphy with support from Sligo Orpheus Choir.

Open to adults of all musical backgrounds, from complete beginners to experienced singers, the workshop will explore catchy canons and rounds from a range of cultural traditions, including Irish folk melodies, African chants, Scandinavian rhythms and contemporary global canons.

Participants will learn together through guided warm-ups and rehearsals before joining in a relaxed final group performance. No previous singing experience is needed.
