A Shared Light is an inclusive, participatory Culture Night event presented by Down Syndrome Sligo. Inspired by Irish traditions of light, welcome, remembrance and storytelling, it invites people of all ages to come together to make, create and connect.
Participants can enjoy a hands-on candle-making workshop alongside a playful puppet-making workshop while their candles cool. Members of Down Syndrome Sligo will be actively involved as co-facilitators and cultural hosts, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages creativity, participation and shared learning.
