A musical celebration of Irish traditional culture – featuring music, song and dance from West Clare

As part of Clare Culture Night 2023, the local west Clare band ‘The Turf Shed’ will be bringing “An evening of traditional music, song and
dance” to Cooney’s Tavern, Quilty

The Turf Shed musicians are: Joe Searson – accordion, Caroline Tubridy O’Dea- concertina and fiddle, Caroline Lodge- cello, piano and fiddle, Sorcha Curtin- concertina and flute, Tara Comber – fiddle, Trish O’Dea – fiddle and Jim Corry – piano.

The Turf Shed are celebrating the recent launch of their new album ‘Cruthanna Ceoil’ which is a creative interpretation of local traditional music and legendary composers, and look forward to performing their new arrangements at Culture night 2023. A very enjoyable night of entertainment is assured and everyone is welcome, with an open session afterwards.
