A Little Art, A Little Music in the Heart of the Community.

Step into a world of artistic wonder as Culture Night invites you to experience the extraordinary transformation of an abandoned 1844 building in Milford. After three years of dedicated restoration, Letterkenny artist Peadar Mc Daid has breathed life back into this historic space, creating his new studio and artist residency, which is open to the public for Culture Night.

Joining Peadar on the night are visual artists Thomas Putt and Karol Mac Gairbheith who will be in the studio working on new paintings, giving you an opportunity to watch them work. Music on the night will be provided by talented singer song-writer Shauna Mc Daid who will be performing live in the residential space upstairs.

As Peadar embarks on a new artistic journey, you'll have the unique opportunity to glimpse into the early stages of research and preliminary work for his upcoming 2024/2025 exhibition. Witness first-hand the ideas, materials, and creative process that goes into producing a body of work for an exhibition.
