A Hat Full of Memories is an intergenerational theatrical storytelling based experience which centres round a character called Miss Nancy Aison Delacourt Cooper who has lost her memory.  The character now lives in an old folks home but through the wearing of a special hat purchased in Cash and Co.Draper’s shop many moons ago and the finding of selected artefacts in the shop ( the shop is 152 years in business) manages to patchwork the story of her extraordinary life together. A life which is peppered with surprises for her audience. The workshop invites audience intergenerational engagement using the artefacts in the story and atmospheric setting of Cash and Co, a familiar shopping space for both generations to engage and relate through stories from memory and thus grow in appreciation for the bonds formed through active intergenerational engagement.

An intergenerational audience of one grandparent and a grandchild are invited to participate in a limited audience theatrical workshop experience with Liz Twomey .
