Description:

This Culture Night, the National Archives invites visitors to explore 1926 Census Exhibition, a fascinating introduction to the lives of people in Ireland a century ago.

Drop into the exhibition to discover the stories revealed by the recently released 1926 Census, featuring a replica census book that visitors can browse for themselves. Through the records, visitors can explore themes including work and daily life, language and culture, sport and entertainment, religion, gender, and the social realities of Ireland as a newly independent state.

The exhibition is open on a drop-in basis from 16:00 to 20:00.
