COVID 19 information & reopening guidelines

Reopening measures & date planned – valid as of May 28th
The information contained here has been distilled from the most recent information on Gov.ie in relation to the gradual reopening currently underway nationwide.
This information will be updated on an ongoing basis as more information becomes available.
From June 7th
Organised outdoor events:
The numbers permitted at organised outdoor events can increase to a max of 100 for the majority of venues, with a maximum of 200 for out door venues with a minimum accredited capacity of 5,000
Indoor venues including museums, galleries and other cultural institutions:
Cinemas and theatres can reopen with a maximum attendance of 50 people
There is a series of sporting and cultural pilot events to take place throughout June and July. The focus is on reintroducing audiences to outdoor sporting events and for cultural events to reintroduce outdoor and music events. The purpose is to assess the logistics of necessary protective measures and this will inform the guidance for venues due to reopen in July or with growing numbers in August.
Continue to work from home unless it is essential to attend in person – For professional artists this means that individuals may attend their workplaces to develop work but only where it is necessary to attend in person.
From July 5th – Subject to the public health situation at the time
Organised indoor events can recommence – with a maximum of 50 people in most venues, in groupls of up to 6 people with measures to ensure no intermingling of groups. Maximum of 100 people in larger venues, with strict 2 metre social distancing in place, one way controls for entry & exit (includes events in theatres and other arts events)
Organised outdoor events: Maximum of 200 people for the majority of venues. Maximum of 500 people for stadia and venues with a minimum accredited capacity of 5,000
Indoor training: Including dance training can recommence in pods of up to 6 people
From July 19th – Subject to the public health situation at the time
International travel: Advice is still to avoid non essential travel – Ireland will operate the EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) for travel originating within the EU/EEA
